6 March 2005
Sunday 6 March 2005 12:00-13:00 (Radio 3)
Next month Private Passions celebrates its 10th anniversary, and during March there's another chance to hear outstanding editions from the past decade. This programme features Elvis Costello, who was the programme's very first guest in 1995. His choices ranged from Byrd and Purcell to Mozart's La clemenza di Tito, Stravinsky's The Soldier's Tale, and an arrangement by Miles Davis and Gil Evans of Kurt Weill's My Ship.
