Raymond Baxter

Sunday 11 December 2005 12:00-13:00 (Radio 3)

Michael Berkeley's guest is the broadcaster and Second World War fighter pilot Raymond Baxter, for many years the presenter of Tomorrow's World, which was first broadcast 40 years ago. He also commentated for the BBC on state occasions, as well as 14 consecutive Monte Carlo rallies, and has recently published his memoirs.

His musical choices range from a Bach cantata to Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli.
