Prof. Simon Baron-Cohen
Sunday 13 April 2008 12:00-13:00 (Radio 3)
Michael Berkeley's guest is Prof Simon Baron-Cohen, one of the world's leading authorities on autism. He is the author of several books on developmental psychopathology, including The Essential Difference, which stirred up controversy with its attempt to link typical sex differences in psychology with the field of autism. He plays in a band for relaxation, and his musical tastes range from Bach, Mozart, Beethoven and Chopin to Aretha Franklin, Eva Cassidy and traditional Jewish klezmer music.
