Tonight Radio 3's season marking Harold Pinter's 75 th birthday offers a unique opportunity.
At nine o clock, as part of the series examining landmarks in our culture, Night Waves looks at Pinter's 1978 play Betrayal . Philip Dodd is joined by Sir Peter Hall, who directed the very first production, Patricia Hodge who has twice starred in it and writer Ian Smith to discuss their experiences of meeting the play's challenges: its reverse chronology, its musical qualities and its many betrayals.
