Night Waves marks Architecture Week and the first London Architecture Biennale in Clerkenwell with the debate "This house believes that Prince Charles has been good for architecture".

20 years ago after HRH's famous "carbuncle" speech attacking modern architecture (and modern architects) have the Prince's ideas had any lasting influence on developers, government, architects, and on the level of architectural discussion in Britain?

Philip Dodd hosts the debate recorded at the Farmiloes Building in Clerkenwell. Defending the motion will be the president of the Royal Institute of British Architects, George Ferguson and the Prince's former adviser Jules Lubbock. Attacking the Motion are the architect Amanda Levete of Future Systems and the architectural critic Hugh Pearman. The audience decides on the winning team.
