Jews in Britain
Rachel Campbell-Johnston discusses three documentaries which offer an unprecedented insight into Jewish life in Britain today. Made by award winning filmmaker Vanessa Engle, the series examines religion, orthodoxy and secularism through the beliefs and culture of very different kinds of Jews from the atheist and secular Jews through to the ultra-orthodox. Novelist Naomi Alderman and historian David Cesarani join Rachel to talk about the series.

Jews by Vanessa Engle is broadcast on BBC 4 from 18 June to 2 July.

Antiquities
Plus - who owns antiquity? In his new book, James Cuno, the director of the Art Institute of Chicago explores the impact of recent claims by modern nations to antiquities and makes an powerful defence of the side of museums in the struggle over their aquisition. He is joined by former director of Manchester museums Tristram Besterman to discuss cultural property and where antiquities really belong.

Cy Twombly
As a major solo retrospective of the work of abstract painter Cy Twombly in fifteen years opens at Tate Modern in London, Brad Lochore discusses the artist and his paintings.

Cy Twombly: Cycles and Seasons is on at the Tate Modern from 17 June.

And poet Selima Hill explores the boundaries between humans and animals, mixing the everyday and the surreal as she sets life at an angle in The Hat - her new collection of poems.
