Gabriel Gbadamosi looks at the new exhibition of the great Russian painter, graphic artist and photographer Alexander Rodchenko as a retrospective of his work opens at the South Bank Centre in London. He was one of the most important figures in the history of photography and the new exhibition promises to offer a distinctive and visionary account of soviet life in the 20s and 30s.

Alexander Rodchenko: Revolution in Photography runs at the Southbank Centre, London from 7th February to 27 April 2008
