Susan Hitch will be talking to the artistic director of the RSC, Michael Boyd, about his vision of the company’s future, its role in British theatre and the search for a fresh, younger audience. There’ll be a review of Michael Nyman’s new opera which is based on the life and work of the great Dadaist, Kurt Schwitters and the poet, Kathleen Jamie will be reflecting on her love for the peregrine falcon….a personal tribute to celebrate the fact that the birds are nesting in London again for the first time in nearly two hundred years. That’s all in Night Waves with Susan Hitch here on BBC Radio 3 this evening at the slightly later than normal time of nine forty five.
