Craig Raine
The poet and critic Craig Raine is Matthew Sweet's guest on tonight's Night Waves.

Raine has written a new book about the twentieth century's post famous and influential poet - TS Eliot - in which he offers extended analyses of Eliot's two master works - The Waste Land and Four Quartets.

Night Waves explores the enduring genius of Eliot, the major themes of his work and the criticisms that are levelled against him.

Immigration
Throughout the week Night Waves is exploring some of the big issues which may face us in the coming year.

Tonight Matthew Sweet and guests discuss the emotive issue of migration. Why is migration on the increase? What are its benefits? And what are the implications for Britain if migration is restricted?

Philippe Legrain, author of "Immigrants; your country needs them" takes issue with Andrew Green from Migration Watch.

Iraq in Fragments
Also on the programme; a remarkable new documentary which reveals the realities of life in contemporary Iraq as rarely witnessed on television news.

"Iraq in Fragments" is a trilogy of intimate films examining the impact of war on individuals in the Kurdish, Shiite and Sunni communities.

The anthropologist Nadje Al Ali reviews the film on tonight's Night Waves.

Product
And the playwright Mark Ravenhill talks about performing his own monologue, 'Product', on the London stage.
