And the life and songs of the folk singer who influenced Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and The Beatles - Woody Guthrie.

As the 200th anniversary of Benjamin Disraeli's birth approaches, Susan Hitch discusses the novels of the one time British Prime Minister and how they expressed his political ideas.

Song writer Billy Bragg and biographer Ed Cray talk about Oklahoma writer, singer and political activist, Woody Guthrie - a look back at his tumultuous life and times, and the songs these inspired.

Maria Delgado reviews the Spanish film Take My Eyes - a love story and a tale of domestic abuse which won seven awards at the Goyas, Spain's equivalent of the Oscars.

And Mercury Music Prize winner Talvin Singh discusses his bold new ENO commission, Voxygen - a collaboration with vocalists from across the world. Coordinated by Talvin Singh on the electronic tabla, the work pays homage to the great vocal traditions of Europe, the Middle East and India.
