Philip Dodd explores how recent waves of immigration are changing British culture. Increasing numbers of public figures, from police constables to MPs, have spoken of their concerns that there is no national public debate about the impact of Britain's leading role as a recipient of immigrants from the EU and beyond.

In the week that David Cameron has called for a focus on community cohesion the economists Bob Rowthorn and Nigel Harris join Philip to debate the contentious merits of migration controls.

Also in the programme, members of the Polish community in Britain and the Chief Rabbi, Jonathan Sacks, whose new book 'The Home We Build Together' sets out his proposals for an entirely new model of social integration, after what he sees as the failures of 'multiculturalism'.
