Bill Emmott, the former editor of the Economist and acclaimed Japan watcher, has written a new book examining the intriguing and shifting relationships between Japan, India and China - the great powers of Asia. In "Rivals" he describes the potential power struggle that may develop between these three nations in the coming decade - and it's not just a question of the rise and rise of China. He talks to Isabel Hilton about Japan's recovery and about the country's fearful association with her close neighbour - China.
