Tonight Night Waves reviews a new exhibtion at the National Gallery in London which brings together more than half of the surviving work by the Spanish master Velazquez. The artist Maggie Hambling and the art critic William Feaver have seen it and join Philip Dodd in the studio.
Also Marista Leishman talks about her book, My Father - Reith of the BBC' about the BBC's first Director General. Alan Strachan will be arriving in the studio from the first night of Spamalot, the Broadway award winning musical based on the film Monty Python and the Holy Grail, which has just arrived in the West End. And we'll be talking to the controversial saxophonist and campaigner Gilad Atzmon, and hearing some of the music from his new album.
Finally, we'll be talking to the winner of this year's Paul Foot award for Journalism.
