From 1st December 2010 until 23rd December 2010 BBC Radio 3 is asking the public to vote for their favourite piece by Mozart in advance of the Radio 3 Genius of Mozart season in 2011.
1. Round 1 (To establish the 10 most popular pieces of Mozart). Listeners can vote for their favourite work by Mozart using one of the methods listed below between 1st December and 13th December
- By emailing 3breakfast@bbc.co.uk naming their choice; or
- By sending their choice to Mozart Vote, Radio 3 Breakfast, Room 1015, BBC Broadcasting House, London W1A 1AA.
- Round 2 (To establish the ranking of the 10 most popular pieces of Mozart and to find The Nation’s Favourite Mozart). Listeners can vote for their favourite work by Mozart by voting online via the link on bbc.co.uk/radio3 BETWEEN 14TH DECEMBER AND 23RD DECEMBER.
2. Listeners cannot vote by any other method. Only one vote per person will be permitted in each round.
3. Any votes received outside the announced voting times will not count but will still be charged.
4. There will be no prize for anyone taking part in the vote.
5. The BBC reserves the right to disqualify entries or suspend voting if it has reasonable grounds to suspect that fraudulent voting has occurred or if it considers there has been any attempt to rig the voting. The BBC has the right to substitute an alternative selection method at its absolute discretion.
6. If, for any reason, one of the voting methods fails, the vote may be suspended or a contingency plan may be actioned.
7. The BBC reserves the right to change, cancel or suspend this vote at any time.
8. The BBC, its sub-contractors, subsidiaries and/or agencies cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem with any stelephone network or line, system, server, provider, postal operator, provider or otherwise which may result in any vote being lost or not properly registered or recorded.
9. Please note that any BBC staff member or anyone who is directly connected in any way with the production of the programme is not eligible to vote.
