Paolo Angeli: Miserere; Tibi (5.12)
Paolo Angeli is an experimental Italian guitarist known for his 'Giant' Sardinian guitar, which has been adapted into something resembling a mini orchestra. However, he's gently put that contraption aside for this project, which has taken eight years to realise. It's an imaginary soundtrack album featuring about thirty musicians from the musically fertile Bologna area.
The first track here features the Choir 'a Tasgia': Agostino Aresu, Sandro Vacca, Paolo Angeli, Nanni Angeli and Roberto Vacca.

Gurdjieff: Harmonium Improvisation 90B) No.32, first series - May 7, 1949 (5.05)
G.I.Gurdjieff was a Greek-Armenian spiritual teacher and philosopher whose ideas on human awakening continue to be a big influence on his followers, including musicians Robert Fripp and Keith Jarrett. Another musician with a keen interest in Gurdjieff is the Amsterdam-based record producer Gert-Jan Blom. In 2000, he obtained the 44 master tapes of Gurdjieff's solo harmonium improvisations. Some were in an almost irretrievable state of decay, but Blom has painstakingly restored them and released them as a CD and extended MP3 CD, presented with a detailed book.
This improvisation was recorded the year Gurdjieff died, at his Parisian apartment.
