Playlist

The special guest on tonight's programme is musician and composer Django Bates

Tuxedomoon: Baron Brown (4.35)
Tuxedomoon emerged from the late 70s/early 80s avant-garde new wave scene in San Francisco. They have now reformed and released this album despite being geographically scattered: Steven Brown lives in Mexico, Peter Principle lives in New York and Blaine Reininger lives in Greece. Guests on this album include Tarwater, John McEntire of Tortoise and DJ Hell

Based on There You Are (accapella version)
Leo Boyle, we think, is a librarian from Northampton. On this album he has translated well-known songs into what at first listen appears to be Italian, but when Django played it to an Italian friend, the Italian friend didn't recognise any of the words.
