Bucketrider are a contemporary music ensemble from Melbourne in Australia, consisting of Sean Baxter (drums/junk/percussion), Dave Brown (acoustic bass/microtonal bass/electroacoustic guitars), Tim O'Dwyer (alto sax/soprano sax/toy piano), Adam Simmons (tenor sax/baritone sax/piccolo) and James Wilkinson (trombone). They are joined here by Judi Mitchell (oboe).

Masaki Batoh: Magakami (9.00)
Masaki Batoh is also the leader of the Japanese band Ghost, who released the universally-acclaimed album Hypnotic Underworld earlier this year. On this solo album, Masaki Batoh plays acoustic guitar, marimba, harmonium, giri giri pee, voodoo drum, bells, hurdy gurdy, organ, drums, horns, duff and Moog synthesiser, and sings.

Martin Archer: It Don't Bother Me; Where’s Mike (4.30)
The first of these two pieces is a cover of Bert Jansch's tune from the album of the same name. The second is a reference to Soft Machine keyboard player Mike Ratledge, who's organ sound circa Soft Machine's Fourth (1971) is an influence at work here.

Astor Piazzolla: Duo de amor (4.55)
This comes from a newly released collection of recordings made by the Argentinean composer/bandoneon player towards the end of his life. This particular piece is taken from the soundtrack to the film Tangos, el exilio de Gardel, which tells the story of Argentinean exiles living in France.
