Toog: Ugly Ducklings (4.50)
Toog is the French duo of Toog and Digiki, with Asia Argento, singer, artist, film-maker and daughter of the Italian 'giallo' film director Dario Argento.
The album is based on the French poet Guillaume Apollinaire. In 1914 he met a young woman called Lou. Disappointed by their ensuing affair, he joined the army and wrote a series of 'Poems to Lou'. This idea came about shortly after 9/11 when Toog, unable to fly to New York as planned, met Asia Argento in Paris.

Chris Carter and Cosey Fanni Tutti were half of the pioneering 70s industrial experimental troupe Throbbing Gristle. They continue to make music, and, in Cosey's case, create works of static and performance art, from their base in rural Norfolk.
