Garlo: Vent de Guitares No.4 (3.55)
Garlo is a French Canadian sound designer, composer and inventor of his own musical genre: Geo-acoustic creations. An example is this piece from 1994, for which 54 guitars were placed on the summit of the highest sand dune in Europe, on the Atlantic coast of France, so that their strings would vibrate in the wind. 6 musicians were on hand to tune and manipulate the sound, which was then taken to the studio to create this result.
