Colleen: I'll read you a story (6.36)
On this album, Cécile Schott, aka Colleen, has eschewed the sampling of her 2003 debut Everyone Alive Wants Answers in favour of live acoustic instrumentation. This is reflected in the influences on the new record: Indonesian folk, gamelan, West African kora music and the 16th century lute songs of John Dowland (the album is actually named after one of these).
