Tango Crash: Milonga para Alberto (‘a fib for Albert’) - remix (4.50)
The latest instalment in the Unknown Public series presents an international mix of sounds and styles. Tango Crash, from Argentina, are Daniel Almada (piano), Mártin Iannaccone (cello/voice), Marcio Doctor (percussion), Eiseo 'Pomo' Tapia (bandoneon) and Lopecito (voice)
Remix by Gregor Hilbe, using out-takes from the version on Tango Crash's self-titled 2003 debut album (Galileo GM003); this remix appears on their 2005 album Otra Santa.

Leafcutter John: Improvisation 1 (6.04)
Featuring Leafcutter John (mainly laptop and electronics), Sebastian Rochford (mainly drums and sundry percussion), Mandy Drummond (mainly keyboards, vocals and viola) and Leo Chadburn (Hammond organ, recorders and vocals); there were sundry other instruments around the studio: tubular bells, toy bouzouki celeste, timpani and a tam-tam.

Bill Ding: Bucket of Strawberries (3.10)
Hefty Records was set up in Chicago in the mid-90s by John Hughes, who was also a member of this band Bill Ding. This compilation features a cross-section of music released by the label over the last ten years, and a bonus CD which was put together by Hefty Records alumnus Scott ‘Prefuse 73’ Herren.

Formerly the solo work of New York singer/songwriter Edward Droste, Grizzly Bear has expanded into a group with the addition of Christopher Bear (drums), Chris Taylor (electronics/woodwinds/bass) and Daniel Rossen (vocals/guitar).This album was recorded in Droste’s mother’s yellow house in Cape Cod, and this track is based on a waltz written by his aunt in the 1930s.

Evan Parker: For Peter B & Peter K (4.35)
Evan Parker (saxophone), Derek Bailey (guitar), Han Bennink (percussion)
This was recorded 13 July 1970 in London. When Evan Parker left Incus Records in 1987 he agreed not to re-release this album while Derek Bailey remained a director of the label. However, Derek Bailey died earlier this year, and so Evan Parker has released the album on his own label, as a tribute to the late guitarist.
