Fiona Talkington introduces highlights from the Norwegian Voices concert, the climax of celebrations to mark the centenary of Norway's independence.
The music ranges from traditional Norwegian folk to cutting edge electronica, with performances by more than a dozen of Norway's leading musicians - including guitarist Terje Rypdal, bassist Arild Andersen, vocalists Sidsel Endresen and Mari Boine, pianist Ketil Bjornstad, trumpeter Arve Henriksen and electronic improvisers Supersilent.
