Assif Tsahar's Digital Primitives
Friday 30 March 2007 23:30-1:00 (Radio 3)
Jez Nelson presents a set by Assif Tsahar's Digital Primitives recorded live at the Tea Lounge in Brooklyn. As well as the tenor sax and bass clarinet talents of Israeli-born Tsahar, the group features the intriguing instrumentation of Cooper Moore - playing a raft of home-made chordophones including the twanger and diddley-bow - and the subtle and irrepressibly inventive drumming of Chad Taylor.
