John Tchicai and Evan Parker duo. Jez Nelson presents an extremely rare encounter between two towering figures of free jazz saxophone. Evan Parker is a pioneer of European free improvisation and renowned for his extension of saxophone technique, while John Tchicai was a key part of the new thing in sixties New York, appearing most famously on John Coltrane's classic album Ascension.
