Jez Nelson presents live music by the San Francisco Jazz Collective, recorded at Barbican Hall. This year, the group chose to perform the music of piano legend Herbie Hancock. Featuring veteran Blue Note records star vibesman Bobby Hutcherson, and leading young saxophonist Joshua Redman. Plus Nicholas Payton on trumpet, Renee Rosnes on piano, Miguel Zenon on saxophone, Eric Harland on drums, Matt Penman on bass and Isaac Smith on trombone.
