3 April 2006
Monday 3 April 2006 17:00-19:30 (Radio 3)
Today's first guests are the Quince String Quartet, playing works by Schumann and Haydn live in the studio.
Cellist Frances-Marie Uitti has had works written for her by some of the giants of contemporary music. She also pioneered the technique of playing with 2 bows and demonstrates this by playing live on the programme.
Jazz singer Ian Shaw has a new album out of Joni Mitchell songs, he performs several at the In Tune piano.
