Lutenist Edin Karamazov performs in London's Lufthansa Festival of Baroque Music at St John's Smith Square on Thursday, he plays live on In Tune around 5.15pm.
The fifth London Festival of Contemporary Church Music began this week, tomorrow a new work by Michael Finnissy is premiered at part of the festival and also broadcast live on Radio 3 during choral evensong from 4pm. The composer joins Petroc and there's also a chance to hear some of his music sung live.
Petroc's final guest is the young violin virtuoso Nicola Benedetti, the winner of BBC Young Musician of the Year 2004. Her latest CD is released on Universal classics this month and features Mendelssohn's perenially popular violin concerto. Nicola also plays live.
