Petroc Trelawny's guests tonight include cellist Moray Welsh who'll be playing live in the studio before performing in a concert with the LSO under James DePriest at the Barbican; conductor Mariss Jansons will be touring with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra to Dublin, Glasgow and Birmingham and joins us on the telephone; and soprano Lisa Saffer will be joining Petroc having already started performing the title role in Berg's opera Lulu at English National Opera.
