Sean Rafferty presents a selection of music and guests from the arts world. As a prelude to The Chopin Experience, pianist Ingrid Fliter, a current Radio 3 New Generation Artist who was awarded the Silver Medal at the Chopin Competition in Warsaw in 2000, performs live in the studio.
Susan Hendl talks about the Royal Ballet's staging of Jerome Robbins' Dances at a Gathering which uses music by Chopin, and Sean also looks at the highlights of the forthcoming days with music from Poland and by the composer himself.
