Sean Rafferty is joined in the studio by soprano Dame Felicity Lott to talk about her new recording of Offenbach's La Grande-Duchesse de Gérolstein. Richard Thompson, Professor of Fine Art at the University of Edinburgh and co-curator of Tate Britain's new exhibition Degas, Sickert and Toulouse-Lautrec highlights some of the musical connections with the paintings. As the English Symphony Orchestra celebrate their 25th anniversary, conductor William Boughton discusses their forthcoming plans for a complete Beethoven Symphony Cycle.
