Petroc Trelawny's guests tonight are Martyn Brabbins who will conduct the CBSO and soloists in a performance of Tippett's A Child Of Our Time at Symphony Hall on Thursday; choreographer Richard Alston and pianist Jason Ridgway will be in the studio before the Richard Alston Dance Company begin a series of dances at Sadler's Wells, including dancees set to the music of Monteverdi and Chopin; and Robert Dean will be talking about the first performance of Elgar's Dream of Gerontius on original instruments in 60 years.
