Petroc Trelawny's guests tonight include Thierry Fischer who will be conducting the Ulster Orchestra in Belfast on Friday 17th September to mark the new season at Waterfront Hall, and members of the Orlando Consort will be playing live ahead of the 'Inventions' celebration of early music at the South Bank Centre in London this coming weekend. Petroc also talks to Baltimore Sun arts critic Tim Smith about the departure of Temirkanov from the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra.
