60th Birthdays: Nyman and Tavener

Marking the 60th birthdays of both Michael Nyman and John Tavener, Robert Worby introduces Christian Lindberg's performance of Nyman's Trombone Concerto with the BBC Symphony Orchestra conducted by the composer. Robert also talks to Nyman about his life and career.

Later, the Schubert Ensemble and soprano Patricia Rozario give the world premiere of a major new work by Tavener, Schuon Lieder, in a recording from this year's Cheltenham Festival.
