In a society where many are happy to confess all to strangers and millions flaunt their personal lives online, have we forgotten the importance of keeping some things to ourselves? Philip Dodd challenges a panel including cultural historian Jonathan Sawday and Sonia Livingstone, psychologist and member of the Home Secretary's task force for Child Protection on the internet, as they debate whether privacy is an idea that's simply run its course.
