Faith & Art -The Hussey Legacy

Sunday 12 November 2006 15:30-16:00 (Radio 3)

Walter Hussey (1909-1985) was described as the last great patron of arts in the Church of England. David Owen Norris explores how the works he commissioned for his parish in Northampton, from the likes of Henry Moore, Graham Sutherland and Benjamin Britten, revolutionised the way Anglicans engaged with modern art.
