Music for a Wizard Whizz

Russell Davies presents a concert dedicated to the memory of writer, broadcaster, musician and biographer of Radio 3, Humphrey Carpenter, who died in 2005.

The concert was given in Cadogan Hall, London, earlier this year, and features music that has a special connection with Carpenter, including an excerpt from the children's musical based on his popular Mr Majeika books, and some of his own arrangements made for his dance band, Vile Bodies.
