Lucie Skeaping focuses on a fascinating collection of 17th century German instrumental music known as Das Partiturbuch Ludwig. Assembled by Jacob Ludwig as a birthday present for his patron Duke August of Gotha, the collection features composers from all over Germany, including Antonio Bertali, Johann Nicolai, Johann Schmelzer, Adam Drese, Samuel Capricornus and Nathanael Schnittelbach.
