A profile of the German-born composer Hasse, who married the widely celebrated mezzo-soprano Faustina Bordoni. Hasse enjoyed great success both at home in Germany and in Italy, but this was short-lived.

Lucie Skeaping plays chamber, vocal and orchestral music by Hasse, and recounts tales of his wife's behaviour in the opera house.
