Music and poetry of the Jews in Renaissance Italy. Lucie Skeaping presents highlights from a concert given by Ensemble Lucidarium at the 2007 York Early Music Festival. The programme explores the musical world of the Jews of 16th century Italy, a colourful mixture of dances and stories sung in Italian, Hebrew, Catalan and Yiddish.
