'The Ring' - Competition Rules

1. The competition is open to UK residents only. Overseas entries will not be considered.

2. If you are under the age of 12 you must obtain permission from your parent/guardian before you enter this competition.

3. You must provide the BBC with your name and email address and day time phone number if you wish to enter this competition. The BBC will only ever use your personal details for the purposes of administering this competition, and will not publish them or provide them to anyone without your permission. 4. Only one entry will be accepted per person.

5. The deadline for receiving entries for the competitions is midnight on Monday 17 April, 2006, for the synopsis competition and 4pm on Monday the 17th for the limerick competition.

6. The Radio 3 Interactive Editor's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

7. Winners will be contacted personally by email or telephone.

8. The prize must be taken as stated. There will be no cash alternatives.

9. The BBC does not accept any responsibility for late entries.

10. Entrants must supply details as required, and comply with all rules to be eligible for the prize. No responsibility is accepted for ineligible entries or entries made fraudulently.

11. This competition is not open to employees or contractors of the BBC, or any person directly or indirectly involved in the BBC or the running of the competition, or their direct family members.

12. The BBC reserves the right to cancel this competition at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of its control.

13. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and to agree to be bound by them when entering this competition.

14. These rules are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

15. This competition is administered by the BBC.
