Cloudscape

A composer, an artist, a meteorologist, a glider pilot and a cloud-chaser reflect on the meaning and inspiration of clouds. Sometimes they are flocks of celestial sheep herded across the sky on a summer afternoon, others sail majestically overhead like battleships while some are stratospheric wisps of angel hair. Too often maligned or ignored, clouds are nature's poetry. So is it really so bad to have a cloud hanging over you?
