As a prelude to tonight's Hear and Now concert, Gavin Bryars has devised a binaural fantasy exploring the Icelandic saga of Egil: Viking warrior, poet, philosopher, drinker. Recorded entirely on location in the sea caves of the Faroe Islands and featuring the voice of Faroese bass Runi Brattaberg.
