One man in his time plays many parts, his acts being seven ages... From Shakespeare's infant through schoolboy, lover, soldier, judge, and pantaloon to second childishness, the passing of time is made audible in the hopes, fears and regrets of seven everymen. With a double soundtrack of music tracing the arch of Western civilisation and golden songs from the last seventy-odd years.
