Presented by Penny Gore. 1.00pm Radio 3 Lunchtime Concert: Edinburgh International Festival 2007 A performance given by David Pyatt and Leon McCawley in last year's Edinburgh International festival. It was a tribute to the great horn player Dennis Brain, in whose memory Poulenc composed his Elegie for horn and piano following Brain's premature death in 1957.


Technical fault
The BBC apologises for a technical fault that caused a break of about 10 minutes in the live streaming and in the audio-on-demand of the Lunchtime Concert broadcast on Thur 29 May 2008 as part of Afternoon on 3.

We aim to make the uninterrupted programme available by Monday evening, earlier if possible.
