A British-Hungarian afternoon featuring Searle's Fourth Symphony alongside works by two Hungarians he loved, Liszt and Bartok, and his British teachers and contemporaries. Plus pieces premiered at the Proms by Searle's teacher John Ireland and Elizabeth Maconchy, who was born 100 years ago this year.
