Britten Sinfonia at Lunch

2/4. A series of lunchtime concerts given in Cambridge recently by members of the Britten Sinfonia and friends. The concert opens with a Bach Prelude and Fugue arranged by Peter Maxwell-Davies and includes an elegy for solo violin by Stravinsky and Manuel de Falla's 1926 concerto for harpsichord. Tansy Davies' piece Contraband is given its world premiere.
