7/8. The penultimate concert in the Beethoven Plus series pairs a quartet from the last set written by Haydn with the first ever published by Beethoven, performed by young Anglo-Dutch ensemble the Navarra Quartet, formed six years ago at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester.

As part of BBC Radio 3's Rites of Spring season, more performances by the BBC Orchestras on tour. The BBC Philharmonic visit Japan and BBC Symphony Orchestra travel to Germany, with music celebrating the renaissance of British music and Polish culture at the end of the 19th century.
