Continuing a series looking at the work of Latvian conductor Mariss Jansons, the programme features Bruckner's Symphony No 7 performed by the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra. This is complemented by a Requiem by the 20th century Italian composer Ildebrando Pizzetti, who was greatly inspired by Verdi.
