Renowned as one of the finest conductors of the first half of the 20th century, Harty maintained links with his native Ireland and many of his works employ Irish subjects. The Ulster Orchestra perform his orchestral music throughout the week. Plus, music by the BBC Singers recorded at the 2007 City of London Festival.
