Another chance to hear the BBC Symphony Orchestra and its chief conductor opening the 114th season of Henry Wood Promenade Concerts. The concert launches Proms celebrations of the centenaries of Elliott Carter and Olivier Messiaen and features a rich line-up of soloists.
